For this cross we used the Banana Punch we selected for its smell and flavor of overripe bananas and cinnamon, and crossed it with our selected OG Kush to bring back the gassy, fuel-like flavor. Banana Krumble grows very short, with thick, overlapping fingers and only starts to stretch in late veg and early flower. It can take moderate to high feedings and produces medium-high yields. The compact buds will need support during the last weeks of flowering. Buds are dense and covered in resin, making it an ideal strain for extractions. The smell and taste are a combination of the intense banana terpenes from our selected plant and that old-school OG Kush terpene profile. The fruitiness mixed with the earthiness and sourness makes a perfect blend for an all-day smoke. BUBBA SLUSH (PRE-98′ BUBBA KUSH X GELATO)
Bubba Slush is an amalgamation of two superb US strains, viz, Bubba Kush and Gelato. To create Bubba Slush Greenhouse Seeds’ breeders used a pre-’98 Bubba Kush and a reversed Gelato which resulted from an extensive pheno-hunt. The result is an ultra-sweet strain with very good yield potential and a colourful display towards the end of flowering.
These plants grow quite short but very bushy with broad, indica-type leaves and dense, round buds. Indoors flowering takes around 65 days with average to high yields. Outdoors harvest will not be until late October which precludes higher latitude cultivation. When planted directly in the ground this strain will grow to a height of 150 – 170 cm. producing up to 650 gr/plant.
The sweetness of Bubba Slush has rich, dark chocolate notes along with some hints of coffee from the Bubba Kush parent and creamy and fuel notes from the Gelato side. The effect is a very strong physical stone but one which leaves the mind clear.
