Prime Superior Drench is our most versatile product. It can be used on clones, seeds and already established plants and the extreme versatility makes it ideal for most uses.
Prime Superior Drench establishes a beneficial symbiosis with the fungus Beauveria bassiana. This natural interaction can drastically improve plant growth and yields. PRIME SUPERIOR DRENCH is made from organic and all-natural ingredients and the fungus colonizes the entire plant not just the roots.
The ease of use means that PRIME SUPERIOR DRENCH can be used for foliar spraying of growing or mature plants.
Uses
- Can be applied to seeds.
- Can be added to rockwool cubes for seeds or cuttings.
- Can be added to soil before planting or transplanting.
- Can be sprayed onto the roots of established plants.
- Can be sprayed onto the roots of plants in hydroponics.
- Can be sprayed onto developing roots in cloning devices.
Directions for Use
Shake the bottle vigorously before each spray to ensure even distribution of the fungus. Spray onto seeds or roots. With rockwool cubes or soil, spray until saturated. Spray directly onto roots of plants in hydroponics or onto developing roots in cloning devices.
Results
Results from field trials in Oregon in 2020 showed that using PRIME SUPERIOR DRENCH can increase the yields of not only CBD and other cannabinoids but also of many terpenes. This is great news for growers focused on cannabinoid-based products with increases ranging from 15% (CBC) to 25% (CBG). With terpenes, increases were seen in the levels of alpha-Pinene, Limonene, Guaiol, Linalool, beta-Farnesene, alpha-Bisabolol, beta, cis-Ocimene, beta-Pinene, Terpinolene, alpha-Farnesene, trans, beta-Ocimene, and Terpineol. Some of these were undetectable in untreated plants. The increase in terpenes could lead to better flavors and higher values for both the harvested plants and products.
In addition to the increases in cannabinoids and terpenes the field trial also showed that the treated plants are bigger, greener, and give higher biomass yields. The grower remarked, “I can see a size and color difference between treated and not treated. The treated row has bigger flowers, better color”.
Tips and tricks
- Colonization through foliar spraying is effective for establishment of the beneficial symbiosis. However, spraying onto emerging roots (seeds or clones) is liable to produce the best results as the symbiosis is present from the very beginning of the plant’s life.
- Works best when sprayed onto the roots of plants in hydroponics set ups rather than adding to the circulating solution.
- Can be used in cloning machines. However, if the machine is liable to wash off the PRIME SUPERIOR DRENCH, then PRIME SUPERIOR CLONE could be a better choice.
- Always shake before each spray to ensure even distribution of the spores.
- Can be used to pre-treat seeds. Spray until wet and then plant.
- For large established plants, it is possible to spray both the roots/soil and the leaves to ensure rapid colonization of the entire plant.
- Can be used in furrow to spray the soil adjacent to seeds or seedlings as they are transplanted.
